Resident of Untsukul District of Dagestan reports heavy shelling in Vremenny
Today, a resident of the Untsukul District of Dagestan has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about intense fire from large-calibre firearms in the settlement of Vremenny. The information about a shootout was confirmed by a source from the local ROVD (District Interior Division).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18 a resident of Vremenny, a settlement, adjacent to the village of Gimry, reported that the settlement was blocked by over 1000 power agents and servicemen. Then, other local residents said that starting since September 19, they began inspecting household after household and checked everybody who lives in each house.
"For the whole day they were searching locals' houses. As far as I know, they found some firearms in one of the houses. And in the evening, shooting burst out; and fire was delivered from large-calibre firearms. All this takes place inside the settlement; apparently, someone was blocked," a local source said.
