In Dagestani village of Kirovaul, law enforcers detain up to 20 persons, local residents assert

On October 6, in the village of Kirovaul of the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, 15-20 persons, including local resident Patimat Nasibova, were detained, the villagers report. According to them, in the afternoon, five persons were still kept at the police station. The police have confirmed the information only about the detention of Patimat Nasibova.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 6, in the village of Kirovaul, unidentified persons shelled law enforcers. Two fighters of the mobile unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and one of the attackers were killed in the shootout. The killed man was preliminary identified as Alidibir Asludinov, who was put on the federal wanted list on suspicion of involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs).

In the morning of October 6, the village of Kirovaul was cordoned off, and a special operation was started there. Later, law enforcers carried out targeted checks, a local resident reports.

According to him, the house, where the law enforcers carried out the special operation, had nothing common with Alidibir Asludinov and it was owned by a local woman, who was also detained.

According to advocate Elena Denisenko, the law enforcers detained Patimat Nasibova, a resident of Kirovaul, born in 1980. According to Parisa Nasibova, a sister of the detained woman, Patimat was not acquainted with killed Alidibir Asludinov.

Parisa Nasibova has added that earlier, her brother Magomed Nasibov and then her father Saidakhmed Nasibov were killed. "My brother and my father were ever engage in anything illegal," the woman has stated.

A source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan has explained that law enforcers check Nasibova for the fact her possible connection with the armed underground.
