Dagestan: Deputy Minister discloses policeman who shot Eradil Asanov dead

At a rally held in the village of Terekli-Mekteb of the Nogai District of Dagestan, Akhmed Bataliev, the Deputy Interior Minister of Dagestan, has made public a name of the policeman, who shot and killed Eradil Asanov and promised to carry out the investigation into the incident.

On Wednesday, people held a rally in front of the ROVD (District Interior Division) of the Nogai District of Dagestan and demanded to make public the name of the policeman, who shot in Eradil Asanov and killed him. According to the organizers of the rally, it was attended by about 600 people.

The protesters demanded to immediately detain the law enforcer, who shot and killed Eradil Asanov. In case if their demand is not satisfied, the local residents threatened to block the federal highway.

Apart from the above, the protestors also demanded to immediately institute a criminal case on the fact of the murder. The protesters have declared their readiness to gather Nogai natives from all over Russia and to arrange even more global protest action in case if the criminal case is not instituted.

Besides, the participants of the protest action have demanded to bring the policeman to justice in the Nogai District. An investigator, who has attended the rally, has stated that the case will be investigated where the incident occurred.
