In Ingushetia, law enforcers have detained a militant, who was a member of the "Karabulak" criminal grouping and who took part in planting bombs and shelling of policemen in September. This was reported by the Ingush FSB.

"The day before, in the course of investigative measures, law enforcers detained Zyaudin Chaniev, born in 1986, who was a member of the so-called 'Karabulak' criminal grouping," an official of the Ingush FSB Department has stated.

According to the Ingush FSB, the "Karabulak" criminal grouping was involved in planting of IEDs (improvised explosive devices) in Karabulak in 2014, the "Interfax" reports.

According to the secret services, Zyaudin Chaniev was also involved in shelling policemen on September 21, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the Ingush FSB Department.

Let us remind you that two persons, an OMON (riot police) fighter and a suspected militant, were killed in the shootout that occurred in Karabulak on September 21. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, the policemen tried to stop a car to check the driver's and passengers' IDs. In the course of the chase, people opened fire from the car and started a shootout.

It should be noted that earlier, according to the "Caucasian Knot", a man named Zyaudin Chaniev, a resident of Karabulak, had already been detained by the police in January 2009. Law enforcers instituted against him a criminal case under the article on use of violence dangerous to life and health against a public officer.
