In Chechnya, law enforcers detain family members of Apti Mudarov's friend, said local resident

In Chechnya, a resident of the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny has reported on the detention of family members of Makhmad Yusupov, a student of the Islamic university, who was a friend of Apti Mudarov, a suspected suicide bomber on the Day of Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 5, a suicide bombing was committed in Grozny. As a result, according to the official information, five policemen were killed, and 13 other law enforcers were brought to hospital. According to investigators, the suicide bombing was committed by Apti Mudarov, a 19-year-old resident of Grozny. According to a source in the law enforcement bodies, Apti Mudarov had an accomplice, and the law enforcers are looking for him.

In the evening of October 13, Ibragim, a resident of the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny, informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about the detention of family members of Makhmad Yusupov, a student of the Islamic university. At present, he is on study in Egypt. According to the source, the law enforcers have detained Rukiyat Yusupova, the mother of Makhmad Yusupov, born in 1967, and all members of their family. According to Ibragim, the detainees are being held hostages until Makhmad Yusupov arrive in Grozny and come to the police.
