ICRF: killed Aliskhanov was plotting attempt on policemen on eve of to terror act in Grozny

Aslan Aliskhanov, killed in Chechnya, had an intention to blow up policemen the day before the terror act, which he committed in Grozny on October 5. This was reported by Alexander Bastrykin, the Chairman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). (According to law enforcers, Aslan Aliskhanov organized the terror act in Grozny on October 5. Another person is suspected of committing the terror act, as amended at 0:59 a.m. Moscow time of October 20).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 18, Aslan Aliskhanov, a 33-year-old native of Grozny, who was wanted by the law enforcement bodies as an organizer of the terror act, was killed during the special operation carried out in the Chechen capital. According to the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Aslan Aliskhanov was killed in the Staropromyslovsky District while the law enforcers tried to detain him. He was put on the federal wanted list for involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs).

According to the ICRF, on October 4, while visiting his friends in the village of Solyonaya Balka in the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny, Aslan Aliskhanov asked them to call the police. He wanted to attack the policemen. However, his friends refused to call the police. Then, Aslan Aliskhanov activated an improvised explosive device (IED) and damaged his friends' household.

While searching the household, the law enforcers found and defused two other IEDs. According to ICRF, Aslan Aliskhanov prepared the IEDs to commit attack the policemen who were expected to arrive at the scene.
