Elimination of disaster consequences is over in Anapa

On October 20, Sergey Sergeev, the head of the city of Anapa, signed a decree on lifting the state of emergency in the resort city. The power supplies is fully restored electricity after the recent heavy rains. On October 21, an interdepartmental commission will start assessing the damage caused by the disaster.

The state of emergency was introduced in Anapa on October 19, after a day earlier the city was struck by heavy rain, which flooded the Yrds of private households. According to the Mayoralty of Anapa, the city saw a three-month volume of rainfall.

The Mayor of Anapa said, at the sitting of the commission for prevention and elimination of emergencies that the bad weather mostly affected the village of Anapskaya, settlement of Supsekh and some districts of the resort city. According to his story, in total, 170 yards were flooded, including 64 private households, reports the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

For two days, experts were conducting yard-by-yard inspections to clarify the list of victims.

The city authorities have completed the formation of the above interdepartmental commission, which will assess, starting today, the damage caused by the elements, according to the official website of the administration of Anapa.
