Dagestan: law enforcers cordon off Gimry village, local residents report
In Dagestan, residents of the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District report that law enforcers are cordoning off their village. According to their story, starting from 10:00 a.m., law enforcers accumulate military vehicles near Gimry.
"Today, I have visited another village, and I quickly returned to Gimry to join my children. Here, people are almost in panic: all of them are hastily leaving the village, and I'll follow them. I'm afraid the situation will not be resolved during long period of time," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Madina R., a resident of Gimry.
The information about blocking of the village has also been confirmed by Patimat M., a resident of the village of Vremenny, who has to live with her relatives in Gimry.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from September 18, the village of Vremenny adjacent to Gimry is under the special operation, which was started with blocking of the village by the law enforcers. Most local residents left the village. On October 19, according to the residents of the village of Vremenny, the law enforcers have cordoned it off with barbed wire.
