In Quarter 3 of 2014, 62 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Dagestan

In July-September 2014, at least 62 persons fell victims to the armed conflict in Dagestan. Of them, 48 persons were killed, and 14 others were wounded. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

The death toll includes 10 civilians, 7 law enforcers and, according to the law enforcement bodies, 31 suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).

In Quarter 3 of 2014, 2 civilians and 12 law enforcers were wounded.

In the Quarter 2 of 2014, at least 81 persons fell victims to the armed confrontation. Of them, 55 were killed, and 26 other were wounded. The death toll includes 11 civilians, 5 law enforcers, and 39 militants. Meanwhile, in the Quarter 2 of 2014, 5 civilians and 21 law enforcers were wounded.

In the 1st quarter of 2014, at least 106 persons fell victims to the armed conflict in Dagestan. Of them, 65 persons were killed, and 41 others were wounded. The death toll includes one civilian, 6 law enforcers, and, according to the law enforcement bodies, 58 suspected accomplices of militants. Meanwhile, in the 1st quarter of 2014, 7 civilians and 34 law enforcers were wounded.

In 2013, in Dagestan, 341 persons were killed, and at least 300 persons were wounded. In 2012, in Dagestan, the total number of victims reached 695 persons. Of them, 405 persons were killed, and 290 others were wounded.
