In Ingushetia, Deputy Interior Minister suspected of 6.5-million fraud
In Ingushetia, the Deputy Interior Minister, the head of Investigating Department is suspected of illegal obtaining of a housing certificate for the amount of about 6.5 million roubles. This was reported by the press officer of the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
On October 27, the fact with signs of fraud was revealed by staff members of the Internal Safety of the Russian MIA.
"According to the preliminary information, the Ingush Deputy Interior Minister has illegally received a housing certificate for the amount of 6,468,000 roubles and benefited from it. The collected material is sent to the investigating authorities to make a decision under Articles 144, 145 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation," the press officer of the Ingush MIA has reported as quoted by the "Interfax".
According to the press officer, in case of found guilty, the Deputy Minister is to be dismissed from the MIA and brought to responsibility in accordance with applicable law.
