In Dagestan, District Court re-takes Patimat Nasibova into custody

On October 29, the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala made a decision to re-take into custody Patimat Nasibova, a resident of the village of Kirovaul, who was detained after the special operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Patimat Nasibova was detained after the special operation carried out by law enforcers in the village of Kirovaul on October 6. Patimat Nasibova is accused of aiding and abetting members of the armed underground. On October 17, the Supreme Court of Dagestan abolished the decision on taking Patimat Nasibova into custody announced by the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala.

"On October 29, the Court re-considered the pre-trial restriction measure against my client Patimat Nasibova. The Court has dismissed my motion to choose softer pre-trial restriction measure against her and decided to take Patimat Nasibova into custody until December 8," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Elena Denisenko, an advocate of Patimat Nasibova.

The advocate does not agree with the Court's decision and intends to challenge it at the higher court.

Let us remind you that Patimat Nasibova's family members claim she was tortured at the police station.
