In Makhachkala, Magomed Guseinov stops his hunger strike because of health problems

On October 31, Magomed Guseinov, one of the hunger-strikers in Makhachkala, was sent for medical examination because of deterioration of his health state, and he had to stop the hunger strike. This was reported by Ruslan Rasulov, the head of the administration of the regional branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party in Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 29, eight members of NGOs from different regions of Dagestan declared the hunger strike. According to the hunger-strikers, they are trying to draw attention to the problem of corruption in the republic and seek the resignation of Ramazan Abdulatipov.

"Unfortunately, the three-day hunger strike has undermined the health state of Magomed Guseinov, a 62-year-old hunger-striker from the public council of Kranoarmeisk. Today, we have called emergency doctors, and they urged Magomed Guseinov to stop the hunger strike, since it is a risk to his life," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Ruslan Rasulov.
