KBR resident killed in shootout buried in Dugulubgey
Islam Beshkurov, who was killed on October 30 in the Baksan District of Kabardino-Balkaria, was buried in the village of Dugulubgey, his relatives told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to the version of law enforcers, Islam Beshkurov opened fire on power agents and was killed by return fire. A policeman was traumatized during the incident.
On October 31, Beshkurov's relatives complained that they were not allowed to take his body from the morgue.
"We managed to take Islam's body only in the evening yesterday, at about 6 p.m.," Zarina Beshkurova, Islam's sister, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on November 1. "On the same day we buried him."
"It is sad that in our republic it is difficult to timely take bodies," she said. "Everything is protracted and becomes a problem, since, according to our traditions a deceased person should be buried on the day of his or her death before the sunset."
Zarema Beshkurova believes that the Investigating Committee should conduct an investigation into the circumstances of her brother's, because, in her opinion, Islam Beshkurov was killed for no reason.
