NAC calls militant killed in KBR bomb specialist for "Imarat Kavkaz"
The suspected militant killed in the counterterrorist operation (CTO), conducted in the Chegem District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), was a bomb specialist of the unit of the banned international terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz", said the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
According to the operative headquarters of the KBR, the CTO regime in the village Chegem Vtoroi was cancelled. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the above regime was introduced in the above village on November 4; a private house, where, according to power agents, militants were hiding, was blocked.
"The killed militant was an expert in explosives and supplied improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to the criminal organization named 'Vilayat of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachay', a structural element of 'Imarat Kavkaz'," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC's statement.
"A certain Bagov, the house owner, was killed," the "LifeNews" quotes its law enforcement source. The above operative headquarters for the KBR has announced that the CTO regime was lifted.
