One of four policemen wounded by explosion in KBR is in grave condition
In the course of a special operation in the settlement of Chegem-2 (Chegem Vtoroi) in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) special division fighters have been injured by shrapnel in the blast of an improvised explosive device (IED), a law enforcement source of the republic has reported today. The health condition of one of them is grave; while the killed suspected militant has been identified.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 5, during inspection of a household in the village of Chegem 2, Chegem District, where on November 4, a suspected militant was killed, policemen triggered an IED and received wounds. According to the police, four of them received shrapnel wounds.
According to a law enforcement source of the KBR, the militant killed in the house located in Baksan Highway, was pre-identified as Timur Bakhov, the 25-year-old owner of the house.
According to the data received from the operative headquarters, a laboratory for making IEDs and several ready to use bombs were found and destroyed in the above house.
