Today, after namaz (the Friday prayer) in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, policemen detained five parishioners of the mosque located in Hungarian Fighters Street, where earlier a conflict burst out of believers with law enforcers, the edition named "Chernovik" writes, citing eyewitnesses. The reasons for the detention of believers are not reported.
According to eyewitnesses, operative agents drove up, put the parishioners into a white Priora car and took them away to some unknown place. The agents were in civilian clothes.
It became known later that the believers were taken to the Sovietskiy ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, the "Chernovik" reports.
The parishioners of the mosque said that detentions of mosque-goers have become systematic. At the same time, law enforcers never explain their grounds and arguments.
