Albina Magomedova from Makhachkala reports lifting of power agents' cordon around her house
Today, Albina Magomedova, a resident of Makhachkala, who was earlier involved in human rights activities in the Dagestan Regional Public Organization DRPO "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy), has sent her complaints to the bosses of the Russia's FSB, ICRF and General Prosecutor's Office, claiming the power agents' pressure on her.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that November 5 Albina Magomedova reported a law enforcers' intrusion into her household in Makhachkala and her fears for her life and lives of her relatives. In the evening of the same day, her household was searched; and the street where she lives was cordoned off by power agents.
Later, Magomedova informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the cordon was lifted only on November 6 after 2:00 a.m.
"Now, everything is quiet, no one is calling and coming. Today I sent – by regular post – my applications to Alexander Bortnikov, the Director of the Federal Security Bureau (FSB); Yury Chaika, the Public Prosecutor General; Alexander Khinshtein, an MP and Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee of the Russian State Duma; Mikhail Fedotov, the Chairman of the Presidential Council on Human Rights; and Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). Copies of these applications were sent to the regional departments of these agencies," said Albina Magomedova.
