Moscow court extends Nasrutdinov's arrest until January 19
As announced by the press service of the Lefortovo Moscow Court, the arrest of Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, accused of a fraud was extended until January 19, 2015.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that back on January 24 this year the defence appealed against the arrest statement, but on February 12 the Moscow City Court (MCC) upheld the decision of the first instance court. On September 8, the MCC again rejected the request to soften the freedom restraint measure of the former Dagestani Vice-Premier.
According to investigators, Nasrutdinov had forged, together with his with accomplices, the documents, under which the property of gas networks of nine municipal formations of over a million running meters worth 58 million roubles was transferred into the ownership of the company "Daggaz", the RAPSI has reported.
Earlier, a Nasrutdinov's advocate said that the defence considered his arrest illegal.
