Employees of "Flowers of Life" Centre in Makhachkala report new policemen's effort to prevent their work
The police have again prevented the opening of the Children Care Centre "Flowers of Life" in Makhachkala.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", on November 15 the head of the Centre said that employees of the Sovietskiy ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala tried to prevent the opening of the institution.
On Monday morning, Albina Magomedova, an employee of the Centre met a group of people in uniform at the building; none of them, according to her story, showed an ID. Later, it turned out that they were employees of the above ROVD.
Magomedova said that policemen had been standing at the gate of the Centre and interfered with its work daily from October 29, adding that when policemen saw an employee of the Centre videoing their actions, they began threatening her.
Madina Magomedova, the head of the Centre, has confirmed that policemen were abusing the educators and applied force to children's parents not letting them to get in.
One of the women, whose child goes to the Centre, also said that policemen threatened to execute her for trying to fix what was happening by a camera.
Policemen also used force to the journalist of the Dagestani newspaper "Chernovik", who was also present in the venue. In this context, now, the editorial board is preparing a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan and the Department of Internal Security of the republic's MIA.
Let us remind you that in early November employees of other similar institutions of Makhachkala – "Happy Baby" and "Zabota" (Care) also stated that their work was hampered.
