Supreme Court of Adygea wants to liquidate "EcoWatch"
The Supreme Court of Adygea has announced the decision to liquidate the Interregional ecological NGO "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" (EcoWatch). The Court's decision has not yet entered into force.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in this April, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) for the Republic of Adygea issued a resolution to suspend the activities of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus".
The Court's decision was reported on November 21.
"The violations revealed in the activities of the 'Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus' had not been eliminated within the prescribed period. In accordance with the decision announced by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Adygea, the above NGO is liquidated and removed from the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities," declares the statement posted on November 21 on the official website of the executive bodies of the Adyg governmental authorities.
So far, no comments of members of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" on the decision announced by the Supreme Court of Adygea are available.
