Law enforcers cancel CTO regime in Untsukul District of Dagestan
The counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime that was in force for 8 months in the Untsukul District of Dagestan has been lifted.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime was introduced in the Untsukul District on March 8. Within this regime, starting September 18, power agents conducted their actions in the settlement of Vremenny, which territorially belongs to the village of Gimry. Local residents complained about violation of their rights in the course of these actions.
By the decision of the Dagestani Operative Headquarters, the CTO was lifted today at midday Moscow time, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
The cancellation of the CTO regime that was in force in the Untsukul District for more than 8 months was also confirmed by the "Chernovik" weekly.
The website of the Dagestani MIA gives no information about the completion of the CTO and its outcomes.
