Resident of Makhachkala kidnapped in September found dead
The body of Zarkipli Ramazanov, a resident of Makhachkala, who was kidnapped in September, was found in the Kumtorkalin District of Dagestan; the body was transported to the Makhachkala morgue.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the disappearance of Zarkipli Ramazanov, which happened on September 16, was reported by Musanip Ramazanov, Zakripli's father, who also lives in Makhachkala. According to the father, his son was kidnapped by law enforcers; however, the GOVD (City Interior Division) of Makhachkala said that Zakripli's name was not among the detainees and opened a criminal case under the article of "kidnapping". According to the parents of the young man, they filed a complaint to the leader of Dagestan and the law enforcement bodies about the kidnapping; however, they did not receive any response neither from the administration of the Dagestani leader nor from the law enforcement bodies.
Today, the discovery of Zarkipli Ramazanov's body was reported by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" with reference to Israfil Gadadov, a lawyer from the "Kavkaz" Bar Association.
"Zarkipli Ramazanov's relatives report that the police told them that the body was found at night on November 26, in a lawn near the village of Novaya Urada," says the release of the HRC "Memorial", received today by the "Caucasian Knot".
So far, there were no comments of Dagestani law enforcers in connection with the discovery of Zarkipli Ramazanov's body.
