Health condition of detained Dagestani student grows worse in Stavropol

The health status of Magomed Aliev, a student from Dagestan, who is in the intensive care unit at a Stavropol hospital after he was detained by power agents on suspicion of promoting terrorism, has become worse.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the 22-year-old Stavropol higher school student Magomed Aliev was detained on November 21 in Moscow. On November 27, he was taken to a local hospital in grave condition. His relatives believe that they tried to kill Aliev.

"His body temperature has went up to 40 degrees. Doctors are trying to bring it down. He is in coma, treated with sedation, so that he didn't wake up. He can't breathe by his own; and he is still connected to an artificial lung ventilator," said Djamilya Ibragimova, an Aliev's sister. According to her story, the investigating authorities continue checking the fact of his injury.

The press service of the Investigating Department (ID) for the Stavropol Territory of the ICRF has confirmed that the case is under their special supervision.

However, the ID did not specify, whether the video, in which, according to the UFSIN, it is seen that Aliev had self-mutilated, has been withdrawn.
