Vladislav Vorobyov, the Chairman of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Russia (AYER) in Chechnya, who perished in the attack of militants on Grozny on December 4, was engaged in doing business in Chechnya since 2008. Under his leadership, the Association opened 50 franchise networks in Grozny and created about a thousand new jobs.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on December 4, members of the armed underground carried out an attack on power agents in Grozny. The fight in the centre of the city resulted in the killing of 10 militants and 14 law enforcers; other 24 power agents were wounded. Besides, after the armed clashes in the House of Press, a dead civilian was found. A source close to the AYER in Chechnya said that it was Vladislav Vorobyov, the chairman of the organization.

The republic's authorities have confirmed the death of Vladislav Vorobyov. Since 2008 he was engaged in doing business in the republic – his company was equipping administrative buildings with equipment and furniture. In 2012, he set up a branch of AYER, which never existed in Chechnya before.

On December 4, it became known that the body of a civilian was found in the House of Press; and the Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Dukvakha Abdurakhmanov said that this was a watchman of the building. According to his version, the casualty was in khaki clothes; therefore, militants could take him for a law enforcer, the "RBC" reports.
