Families of power agents killed in attack on Grozny exempt from utility payments
The employees of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), who were lost in a special operation in Grozny on December 4, are presented to state awards. Their families will receive help, and, inter alia, since January 1 they will receive all the municipal utilities free of charge.
"All the 14 MIA employees, who perished on December 4 in Grozny while performing their duties, have been presented to state awards. The wounded policemen will be also rewarded," a source from the Chechen MIA told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The families of the lost policemen will be provided with financial and other assistance, said the source and added: "This also applies to their families in need of housing and care for their children in admission to educational institutions."
"Also, since January next year, as directed by the leadership, the families of the law enforcers, who perished in performing their official duty, will be exempt from payments for municipal utilities," said the MIA source.
So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no information about any support to the family of the civilian, who perished during the CTO.
