In Armenia, a forensic examination found a brain concussion in the oppositional MP Aram Manukyan; the parliamentarian himself told reporters.
Let us remind you that in the evening on December 11, near his house, Manukyan, the secretary of the parliamentary faction of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC), was attacked by an unidentified man.
The perpetrator was "a middle-aged man in a cap, who came up and without a word began beating me," said Aram Manukyan.
The attack was recorded by a CCTV camera, said Levon Zurabyan, the head of the above faction. The record is now studied by relevant authorities, says the today's release of the Investigating Committee.
According to Arman Musinyan, the Secretary of the ANC, the incident has to do with Manukyan's political activities. "He's a classic politician; and the attack on him can only be attributed to his activities," said Musinyan.
