Broadcasting of radio "Echo Moskvy-Makhachkala" resumed in Dagestan
On Tuesday, the radio station "Echo Moskvy-Makhachkala" resumed its broadcasting in Dagestan in full volume.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 11, at the demand of the Russian "Roskomnadzor", the radio "Echo Moskvy-Makhachkala" was suspended. As stated by the spokesman of the "Roskomnadzor", the broadcasting was suspended, because the transmitter was broadcasting not from the place, which is specified in the permit for using radio frequencies.
It took a few days to sort out the situation, said Zaur Gadjiev, the Director General of the radio station.
"It was only on December 12 that we received the documents from the 'Roskomnadzor' that explained the violations. On Monday, they were studied by lawyers of the 'Echo Moskvy', who confirmed that violations should not result in termination of broadcasting," the edition "Chernovik" quotes Zaur Gadjiev as saying.
Earlier, he said that the suspension was unjustified and politically motivated.
