Power agents' actions did not interfere with work of authorities, Khasavyurt administration asserts
The administration of Khasavyurt continues working normally. The confiscation of documents undertaken by power agents did not prevent the officials to perform their duties and receive citizens, officials, said the staff of the Mayoralty. There were no conflicts, said the officials of the administration of the Khasavyurt District.
Let us remind you that on December 16 Dagestani media reported that power agents blocked the administration buildings of the city of Khasavyurt and the Khasavyurt District for confiscation of documents relating the allocation of land plots. According to eyewitnesses, the buildings were surrounded by armoured vehicles.
Shamsudin Khalitov, Deputy Head of Khasavyurt, said that the blocking was out of question.
According to his story, policemen wanted to know whether the administration had issued any permits for building a cafe in the forest belt, located along the bypass road Khasavyurt-Babayurt. He added that the power agents' check was not related to any criminal case.
According to Akava Akavov, the Press Secretary, the staff worked calmly; there was no "rush and bustle."
One of the local experts has noted that the check of documents was carried out by federal not Dagestani power agents.
