In November 2014, 22 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

At least 22 people were victims of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus in November 2014, of which 15 people were killed, and 7 others wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

Dagestan is in the lead by the number of victims, where last month eight persons suffered: seven perished and one was wounded. In the course of armed clashes and counterterrorist special operations five alleged members of the armed underground were killed. Two civilians were lost and one wounded as a result of attacks committed by unidentified persons.

In Chechnya, in November, in the course of the armed conflict, six people suffered: four were killed and two wounded. In the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO), four suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were killed, and two employees of power bodies were wounded.

In Kabardino-Balkaria, the armed conflict resulted in six victims: two were killed and four wounded. In the course of a special operation, one alleged IAF member was killed, and four law enforcers were wounded. Another law enforcer was killed in an attack undertaken by unidentified persons.

In Ingushetia, in November, two persons suffered from the armed conflict. As a result of an attack committed by unidentified persons, one civilian and one law enforcer were killed.

In November 2014, no victims of the armed conflict were registered in Karachay-Cherkessia, Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and Stavropol Territory.
