Tsarnaev's defence again demands to move trial from Boston to other city
The advocates of Johar Tsarnaev, who is accused of organizing the terror act during the Boston Marathon Run, have again petitioned to move the trial from Boston to some other city.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to investigators, Johar Tsarnaev, an ethnic Chechen, and his brother Tamerlan, who was killed at detention, organized a terror act during the Boston Marathon Run in April 15, 2013. Then, the explosion triggered by them killed three people and injured 282. In July 2014 Tsarnaev's advocates already filed a petition to move trial from Boston; however, in September the court refused to do it.
"The adverse pre-trial public resonance and the continuing 'leaks' into media will only strengthen, as we approach to the one-year anniversary of the terror act, the advocates wrote in their petition submitted to the judge on December 22; it text is quoted by The Boston Globe.
"Boston itself is a victim"; therefore, it will be impossible to find impartial jurymen and hope for an objective trial in this city, the advocates have noted and demanded to move the trial to another city, the TASS reports.
