Residents of Untsukul District complain about frequent power outages
From the beginning of 2015, the population of the Untsukul District of Dagestan is regularly suffering from electric power outages, which result, as locals report, in broken domestic appliances in many households. The district division of the city department of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) said that they have received no complaints on the matter.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about an electric power disconnection in the village of Untsukul on February 9. Then, about 7000 residents remained without electric power. On February 10, the power supply was completely restored. The press service of the "Dagenergo" Company referred to bad weather as the reason for grid problems.
However, residents of the district claim that outages occur almost daily.
According to Magomed Ramazanov, an Untsukul villager, most residents pay on time for the consumption of electricity.
On February 13, there was no electricity in three dwelling settlements of the district, Tamila Gazimagomedova, the head of the press service of the Chief Department of the MfE for Dagestan, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that in the evening of the same day the power supply was completely restored in all the settlements of the Untsukul District.
