Law enforcers fence Dagestani settlement of Vremenny off with barbed wire

The Untsukul District of Dagestan, where the counterterrorist operation is underway, faces problems with communication, local residents are prohibited from communicating with journalists, and the settlement of Vremenny is cordoned off with barbed wire. This was reported by the local residents.

It has been reported that the special operation in the settlement of Vremenny adjacent to the village of Gimry is underway starting from September 18. According to the villagers, school and kindergarten do not work in the village anymore, there is a shortage of food products, and the law enforcers destroy farm buildings. Most of the local residents left their village during the special operation.

The village of Gimry faces problems with communication. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Patimat M., a resident of Vremenny. According to the woman, on October 19, the village was temporarily cordoned off with barbed wire. However, the woman notes that the entry to the village remains closed.

The settlement of Vremenny is home for about 900 residents, that is, 213 households. Of the total number of residents, 102 children went to the school in the village, and other 48 children attended the local kindergarten. This was reported by a local woman, who introduced herself as Aminat.

The woman has noted that after the "Caucasian Knot" highlighted the problem that the children from Vremenny did not go to school for a month, the administration of the Gimry village invited children to go to the Gimry secondary school.

According to a villager from Vremenny, the local residents are forced to remain silent and not to talk to journalists.
