Casualties of special operation in KBR were residents of Baksan District
The persons killed on July 14 in a special operation in the Baksan District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have been identified as local residents.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 14, in the area between the city of Baksan and the village of Dugulubgey, the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced. Power agents discovered there armed men and killed three suspected militants in a shootout. The Russia's National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) said that those killed were members of the illegal armed formation (IAF), which committed murders in the KBR and Stavropol Territory.
The casualties have been pre-identified as Boris Batyrov, 41, Kasbulat Dyshekov, 30, and Rustam Beslaneev, 23, who, according to law enforcers, were members of the "north-eastern sector" of the local underground, operating in the territory of the Baksan and Zolsky Districts of the KBR.
One of them went underground about a year ago; and the others joined militants not so long ago, the "Kommersant" writes, citing its law enforcement source.
The casualties' names are also specified by one of the websites that support militants; however, their involvement in IAF activities is not mentioned.
