CTO regime in Ingushetia cancelled

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, introduced this morning in several districts of Ingushetia, has been cancelled. In the course of the special operation, law enforcers discovered a terrorist base.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that three persons were killed as a result of the special operation in the village of Gazi-Yurt in the Nazran District and the surrounding area. Four other residents of Ingushetia are detained, and they are being checked for involvement in aiding and abetting militants.

A terrorist base containing several items of weapons and ammunition, food and medicines, was discovered at the place of the special operation, the "TASS" reports.

The CTO regime was introduced in Ingushetia in Gazi-Yurt and neighbouring villages of Ekazhevo, Plievo, Barsuki, and Yandare, and in the town of Karabulak on the basis of the operational information about a terror act being plotted by militants in the territory of Ingushetia, the newspaper "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.
