Law enforcer wounded in shelling of police squad in Dagestan

In the evening of January 19, two men shelled a police squad in the Derbent District of Dagestan. As a result, one of the policemen was wounded. The law enforcement bodies began to search for the attackers.

According to the law enforcers, at about 11:00 p.m., near the village of Mamedkala of the Derbent District of Dagestan, unidentified persons opened fire on the policemen who wanted to check their documents.

As a result of the shelling, one policeman was wounded. The attackers managed to escape, the "TASS" reports today with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

According to the preliminary information of the law enforcement bodies, there were two attackers, and the law enforcers are engaged in their search, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.
