The poor condition of roads was an element of 1125 traffic accidents that occurred in 2015, said Alexander Kravchenko at the parliamentary hour "On Status of Law and Order in 2015", held at the Volgograd Regional Duma on March 31, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Nikolai Lukyanenko, a Regional Duma MP, raised the issue of question about the situation with the Obligatory Motor Insurance (OMI) policies. On the one hand, he said, insurance companies become victims of swindlers; and on the other hand, insurers are imposing additional services to dutiful motorists.

In his opinion, the population has to pay swindlers' actions of fraudsters paying.

"Some insurance companies create artificial queues by issuing 3-4 policies; and others impose additional services," he said.
