Evkurov wants to set up dialogue among followers of different concepts of Islam

On July 10-12, Ingushetia is to host the meeting of followers of various concepts of Islam as a platform for open dialogue. This was announced by the leader of Ingushetia. According to him, the authorities will use a different manner to talk to those who abandon the meeting. Yunus-Bek Evkurov believes that later, religious figures from other regions may be involved in the dialogue.

At the press conference held at the MIA "Russia Today", Yunus-Bek Evkurov has stated that no one has a reason not to sit at the negotiating table.

According to the Ingush leader, the first meetings are to consolidate own society, and the next meeting are to invite theologians from Chechnya, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Tatarstan.

Yunus-Bek Evkurov has noted that the Muftiates of different regions, particularly of Chechnya and Ingushetia, should not publicly express their claims against each other, but they should try to focus on themselves.

The Ingush leader has also emphasized that he firmly opposes the method of intimidation in the fight against extremism.
