Death toll of special operation in Gubden increases to three persons

In the Dagestani village of Gubden, three militants were killed in a blocked house. One of the suspects was on the federal wanted list, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

Today, at 9:50 a.m. Moscow time, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced in the village of Gubden. Suspected militants were blocked in a house in the village, and a shootout occurred. It was initially reported on one man killed in the armed clash. Then a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan has reported that militant Abubakar Uzdiev and his wife Khalimat Magomedova were killed in the blocked house.

"According to the preliminary information, when offered to surrender, three militants opened fire on law enforcers and were eliminated by return fire," reports the source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".

The source has also reported on identification of all killed suspects. One of them was on the federal wanted list.
