In Makhachkala, Court considers claim to cancel Magomed Magomedov's prevention registration
In Makhachkala, Magomed Magomedov, the former spokesman of the Salafi mosque in Hungarian Fighters Street, has filed a claim to exclude his name from the prevention registration list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). According to the advocate, the court hearing scheduled for November 16 has been postponed to December 1.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomed Magomedov is suspected of illegal possession of weapons and drugs. On May 23, the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan cancelled the decision on the Magomed Magomedov's arrest.
Advocate Shamil Isaev has stated that Magomed Magomedov pleads not guilty. According to the advocate, during the interrogation, his client claimed that a grenade, ammunition and drugs had been planted to him during his detention.
On November 16, the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala started the consideration of the claim filed by Magomed Magomedov against the MIA with a request to exclude his name from the prevention registration list, reports Shamil Isaev.
According to the advocate, Magomed Magomedov himself is under house arrest, which on November 11 was extended for a month. The advocate has noted that in the case, "no investigative actions are being carried out for a long time."
