Man killed in shootout in Derbent

Today, law enforcers have reported cordoning off several houses in the area of Buynaksk Street in Derbent. The houses were cordoned off under the operation to detain members of the armed assault. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies for Dagestan.

According to a source from the law enforcement bodies for Dagestan, during a shootout in Derbent, 27-year-old local resident, blocked in a house in Buynaksk Street, was killed. The man was suspected of involvement in a robbery committed this February.

"According to the preliminary reports, the man was offered to surrender without a fight. He began to shoot on law enforcers, and he was neutralized," the RIA "Dagestan" quotes the source from the law enforcement bodies as reporting.
