Children of Derbent resident wanted by law enforcers return to Dagestan

Two minor daughters of a resident of Dagestan, who is on the federal wanted list and who together with his wife tries to get to Syria to take part in the activities of the "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia, are back from Turkey to Dagestan.

According to Marina Ezhova, Commissioner for Children's Rights in Dagestan, Khabib, a 30-year-old resident of Derbent, together with his wife and two daughters, left Dagestan for Turkey to go to Syria.

However, in Turkey, the eldest daughter became ill, and the girl was diagnosed with kidney stones, the "Life" reports.

According to the edition, the man contacted the mother of his wife and asked her to take the children to Russia for medical treatment. The mother of the Derbent resident' wife was granted temporary custody over the children.

The resident of Derbent and his wife refused to return to Dagestan. As a result, the plane with the children landed at the Makhachkala airport on April 30, the RIA "Derbent" reports.

According to the "Life", Khabib is on the federal wanted list. More than a year ago, "Khabib's closest relatives, tired of regular visits of law enforcers, allegedly left for Volgograd."
