Armenian journalist wounded in Karabakh conflict zone

In the evening of May 10, in the Karabakh conflict zone, the film crew of the Armenian "Shant" TV Channel was shelled from the Azerbaijani side. As a result of the shooting, a cameraman was wounded, the Armenian "Shant" TV Channel reports.

The incident occurred on the north side of the contact line at 6:00 p.m. local time. The journalists of the "On positions" TV show were subjected to shelling.

"David Atoyan, a cameraman, is injured. The car is damaged," reports the "Shant" TV Channel as quoted by the "Interfax" in the today's morning news release.

The shelling, under which the journalists got caught, was fired with large-calibre small arms, the "Armenpress" reports.

Till present, the "Caucasian Knot" does not yet have any comments from representatives of the Azerbaijani side regarding the statement made by the "Shant" TV Channel.
