Azerbaijan claims 122 cases of shelling from Armenian side

During the past day, the Armenian armed forces 122 times violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line, reported the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Among others, the shelling affected the Azerbaijani positions in the villages of Gaimagly and Ferekhli in the Gazakh District, the villages of Alibeili, Agdam, Kokhanebi and Mundjuglu in the Tovuz District, in the village of Zamanly and in the nameless heights in the Gadabay District, reported the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 17, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 105 cases of shelling during the day. On October 14, Nagorno-Karabakh complained about shelling from Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that on October 16, at a meeting in Geneva, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan decided to take additional steps to reduce tension and intensify negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh.
