Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of using mortar

The Azerbaijani militaries have violated the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone, the Nagorno-Karabakh's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

According to the MoD, on November 19-25, the situation on the contact line "did not change significantly."

Azerbaijani militaries have violated the ceasefire by using mainly small firearms; and in the northern direction by also using a 60-mm mortar (one cartridge), the Nagorno-Karabakh's MoD asserts.

"The advanced units of the Defence Army abstained from retaliatory actions and continued taking the necessary steps to reliably defend their combat positions," the "News-Armenia" quotes the message of the Nagorno-Karabakh's MoD.

So far, the Azerbaijani MoD has not commented on the Nagorno-Karabakh's accusations of shelling.
