Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of shelling nine villages
Within the last 24 hours, Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the area of the Karabakh conflict for 135 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on December 31, the Azerbaijan MoD reported 140 bombardments of its positions in the area of the Karabakh conflict. The day before, on December 30, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reported 14,000 violations of ceasefire by Azerbaijanis since early 2017.
For the last 24 hours, Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire for 135 times, the Azerbaijani MoD’s press service has reported today.
The message posted today on the MoD’s website reads that positions located in the villages of Kemerli, Gaimagly, Guschu Airym, Bala Djafarli, Alibeili, Agdam, Kokhanebi, Agbulag and Mundjuglu were shelld, as well as those deployed on the nameless heights in the Gazakh and Kedabek Districts.
In their turn, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on this statement on their own websites.
