Four person wounded in shootout in Tbilisi
On April 10, the Republic's Hospital accepted four young men, who received gunshot wounds in the Tbilisi district of Vedzisi, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported.
According to the MIA, the oldest of the wounded men was born in 1993, the youngest – in 1998. The criminal case was opened under Articles 19-109 (murder attempt at aggravating circumstances) and 236 (illegal arms circulation) of the Georgian Criminal Code, says the message placed on the MIA's website.
According to eyewitnesses, a former rugby player of the Georgia's youth team and his brother are among the victims. According to one of their versions, a quarrel preceded the shooting. However, other eyewitnesses report that the young people we fired at from the passing car, the "News-Georgia" reported on April 10.
