Yerevan policemen suspected of beating a detainee

In Yerevan, the police detained a resident of Vanadzor. Policemen beat him and forced him to confess to a crime he never committed.

The incident occurred on March 29, reports the website of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 20, 2017, in Armenia, investigators launched an investigation into a case against the policemen who, according to the investigators' version, beat one detainee and "beat out" from another detainee a confession to a crime.
