Defence reports new criminal charge against Ramzan Kadyrov's plenipotentiary

In Moscow, investigators suspect Ramzan Tsitsulaev, a former Ramzan Kadyrov's plenipotentiary in Ukraine, of an attempt to organize a murder. This has been reported by his advocate today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 6, 2017, Ramzan Tsitsulaev, who was wanted, was detained by Ukrainian law enforcers and then taken to Moscow. He was charged with fraud and use of violence against a public official, and in February 2018, also with organization of kidnapping and extortion. On May 8, in Moscow, the court extended the detention of Ramzan Tsitsulaev in custody until August 11.

Today, Mohammed-Aref Bekaev, an advocate of Ramzan Tsitsulaev, has reported that Moscow investigators opened a new criminal case against his client on attempted murder.

The advocate reports that Ramzan Tsitsulaev has not yet been charged with the above article. Meanwhile, Mohammed-Aref Bekaev categorically rejected his client's involvement in the incriminated crimes, the TASS reports.

According to the testimony given by Djambulat Madaev, a Ramzan Tsitsulaev's friend, earlier, Ramzan Tsitsulaev had informed him of his conflict with Ismailov, a businessman of Azerbaijani origin. According to Djambulat Madaev, Ramzan Tsitsulaev offered 500,000 US dollars for his murder, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies.
