Five people fall victim to cableway accident in Azerbaijan
One person was killed and four others injured as a result of the crash of the cableway; two of the victims were hospitalized.
A cable broke; and the cabin fell from a height to the ground, a source from the district administration told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, Ruzgar Mamedov, a hotel employee, a resident of the Guba District, has perished.
Those hospitalized are Rafig Gasanov, born in 1958, and Rukhid Alimamedov, born in 1985. Their health condition is assessed as satisfactory.
The cable breakage occurred during repair works. All the victims are workers from the village of Amsar, Guba District, a hotel employee has reported. According to his story, during the works, the cable broke abruptly and struck the workers.
