New killing in Dagestan
Unknown attackers fired automatic weapons at a Volga car in which there was an officer of the Levashi District Division of Internal Affairs and an unemployed local resident, a friend of his, a source with republican law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti. The police officer wore civilian clothes and was off duty, according to him.
"The policeman died of sustained wounds and his friend is in hospital," a source with Dagestan's Internal Affairs Ministry explained.
